I bought another TT-1A, a 69 vintage in pristine condition.

The TT-1 was introduced in January 1960.

The TT-1A was introduced in March 0f 1962. An upgrade kit for the older TT-1 the TTA-1-1 was also offered that year for $19.95!

The TT-1 kit cost $134.95 originally and 149.95 for the TT-1A.
Today on eBay it sells for between 300 and 500 or more. It is still a very
good tube tester by any standards. The TT-1A is almost an exact copy of the
Weston 981 tube tester.
