What's
New in All Systems:
Message numbers and Kit quantities are now correctly converted from older version Task files created in TLDOS or TLWIN 3.x.
Help menu Web links are now updated for the new Data I/O Web site.
All appropriate tabs are now displayed in the
Task Editor when switching systems within a Task (at version 4.21).
What's New in UniSite Family System:
Installation program updated for use on Win2000
operating systems.
Added capability to detect WinME and Win2000
when launching HyperTerminal application.
Highspeed download now optimized for the parallel
port, for improved performance over speeds achieved at version 4.21 release.
Fixed problem with parallel port operation
when switching between systems that do, and do not, support the parallel
port.
Parallel port operations enabled on the 3980xpi
(at version 4.21).
Moved .DEV files, support for .CUS files, and
the file TL.ERR to a "UniSystem" directory in the TaskLink directory
(at version 4.21). This is now consistent with other system components.
What's New in Sprint Family System:
Made device database update process 100% to 300% faster, depending on performance of PC.
Switched from ODBC to DAO for database connectivity.
Removed redundant table queries.
TaskLink now forgives errors while importing text for the device database. New prompt is added to "cancel" or "continue." If "continue" is chosen, the device from the suspect line is dropped from the device list.
On General and TOPs Programmer Property tabs, controls that do not apply to the selected device are now grayed out rather than hidden.
Syntax error in device query related to "Device-Table.Mod" now fixed.
Corrected problems with incorrect checksum and crashing on microcontroller devices with word widths greater than 8 bits.
Device database updated to include all of the latest FlashTOP adapters.
"Secure device" feature now works correctly in Tasks with logic devices.
Improved clarity of several error messages.
Added support for start up messages when adapter.txt
and lookup.txt are not found or an incorrect version is installed.
What's New in ProLINE-RoadRunner System:
Note: This feature requires version 1.10 of the roadrunner.mdb, which is not yet being distributed with the RoadRunner Algorithm or System update CDs. It will be distributed after customers have TaskLink version 4.30.
Switched from ODBC to DAO for database connectivity.
Increased size of error message buffer to prevent truncation of error messages longer than 100 characters.
Added support for version 1.10 of the roadrunner.mdb database.
Updated the RoadRunner database to display
only installed algorithms.
