Bill Meyer ( W8ZAL) died the following year after we were married, September 3rd 1991. He was an engineer for Crosley Broadcasting later changed to Avco. He retired from WLW in 1988 after spending his entire career there. He was a wonderful provider and the life of every party. We miss him very much. Ruth Davis Meyer lived until January 19th, 2001. She worked in sales at Lazarus, taught Sunday school and raised a family. She enjoyed gardening and baseball. She did not let cancer rob her of the things she enjoyed doing nor did her heart attack. Ruth was an amazingly resilient person and was adored by her family. Ruth lived with us the last year of her life. We miss her terribly.
