FOR BIG BUSINESS!!!
What is the old joke that bears a lot of truth;
How can you tell if a politician is lying?
HIS/HER LIPS ARE MOVING!!
There no longer exists a party in this country that
represents the common man. If you think so then you are probably one of the
thousands of lobbyists in Washington with your hands in the politicians pocket.
I doubt there is little good that can be said about our politicians.
I DON'T EVEN WANT TO GET STARTED ON THE STATE OF OHIO, IT'S
BUDGET AND LOUSY FUNDING FOR OUR EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM!! I ALREADY HAVE TOO MANY
SLEEPLESS NIGHTS!!
If you are wondering if our OHIO politicians in Columbus
are firing on all 8 then think about this; They make a law that prevents certain
municipal employees from striking and require binding arbitration by an
independent arbitrator who seldom sides with the city. Therefore the taxpayer
has no voice, the politicians are held up by the possibility of exorbitant
demands and we are stuck with ridiculous contracts. It would seem reasonable
that the law would have required a board which included citizens to arbitrate
such contracts as well as grievances. Everyday I read the paper or listen to the
news I go to sleep with nightmares about our government.
BUT THEN AGAIN THIS IS JUST ONE MANS OPINION!!
The best defense for Americans is to make
sure there is a balance of power in congress so nothing of importance can get
screwed-up. The only thing they can do is vote themselves a raise, OH WAIT they
made that automatic!!

If the government is truly interested in healthcare
reform and helping the average person then why don't they allow us to fully
deduct all our medical, dental and medicines from our taxes without having
to itemize? What they will end up doing is create a law that is so
complicated that the bureaucratic overhead and ineptness will cost us a
fortune. |

The government continually lets big business import
dangerous toys from China that harm our children? |

The government does not require checks of our imported
ingredients for animal food from China that kills our pets? |
|
The government allows businesses to import medicines from
China that kill our people? |
|
The government allows businesses to import cheap tires
from China that kill us on the highways. |
|
The government allows wallboard / drywall to be imported
from CHINA without first checking the fitness of it, now many hundreds of
people are sick and houses practically unlivable. |

We have children working in the fields in this country
and our government does not know anything about it? |
|
They put a man in charge of the treasury department and
the IRS who cannot figure out how to do his own taxes. |
|
When a politicians gets caught for not paying taxes or
other indiscretions it is only then that they are profoundly sorry??

We cannot elect politicians smart enough to out
think the money grubbers on Wall street, there must be some irony here
somewhere! |

We elect politicians who give away billions of our
dollars and it never dawns on them that the institutions they give it to may
abuse it? |

It did not dawn on the government that if they regulated
big business less that the results would be to take care of itself first and somehow this
would be good for America?? |

The average American feels like Washington has no idea
what they are doing? |

The lobbyists have more power with the politicians than
the people who elected them to congress, is it possible money enters into
this?? |

You need a shovel when a politician explains how this
happened or who is at fault. When they are done do you feel it is as clear
as mud?? |
