I unsoldered the program prom and installed an updated EPROM so that the year 2000 and above will be displayed properly.  I don't recommend this modification for the faint of heart, it is delicate to say the least.  It took me an hour or so of continuity checking to find the hairline break on one of the traces.  It is up and running with the Y2K modification in place and in a socket.
